A Bakeshop began in 2014 as a passion project by founder Andrea Tuck, inspired by a deep-rooted family tradition. Andrea comes from a long line of Italian women who owned and ran restaurants — a legacy of hospitality, food made from scratch, and creating space for celebration.
What started as a one-woman kitchen operation quickly grew into one of Phoenix’s most trusted names in custom desserts. From weddings to birthdays, from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate events, A Bakeshop crafts personalized cakes and sweets that feel just as special as the moment being celebrated.
We believe great desserts start with real ingredients and a personal touch. That’s why every cake, frosting, and filling is made in-house, from scratch — never with preservatives or shortcuts. Your order is made just for you, fresh and fully customizable.
In 2022, we expanded our vision by opening A Flourshop in the heart of downtown Phoenix. A Flourshop is our sister café, focused on small-batch pastries, croissants, and desserts. Everything on the menu — from the coffee mixers to our fresh juices — is crafted in-house. The space also features fresh Arizona-native flowers and locally curated gifts, making it a beautiful destination for both locals and visitors.
